Some ladies monitor their cervical mucus to record their ovulation days. If you’re doing this, make sure to check your mucus levels before you’re taking a bathe or go for a bathe as these levels can alter quite significantly when spending time in water. If you measured your mucus levels after a shower, you might be misled by the incorrect readings that can reduce your chances in making an attempt to conceive.

Do not try to be too anxious about finding your actual date of ovulation. It will make things be mechanical process. On the contrary, if you’ve got sex every alternative day or once each three days, you will still have the identical chances while not the stress and anxiety that’s related to constantly checking ovulation symptoms such as body temperatures or cervical mucus production. Letting nature take its course is typically the most effective means to become pregnant.

Although you give up those unhealthy habits that have negative effects on getting pregnant such as smoking even drinking coffee, there is no sign that something is on the upturn. Maybe there are additional external factors having effects on you. You will ignore your working condition. There are some dangerous materials that can lower sperm count and fertility levels in working condition. If people are exposed to such harmful material for very long time, their fertility will be affected badly, even become infertile.

Good diet can help you not only to fortify the body against disease but also increase the prospect of getting pregnant. You should to keep aloof from drinking coffee and eating junk food. Cigarette and alcohol is more harmful and you’ve got to avoid them. Add the folic acid to your diet list when you plan to get pregnant.

Great persistence is necessary for success. Persistence is the next how to get pregnant tip that will help you out a lot during baby making procedure. Even if everything is in your favor, nature’s course can be such that you have solely approximately a 30% probability of conceiving. Therefore, you will need to be persistent and not give up hope if you are not getting pregnant within a few weeks or maybe a few months for that matter.

Many parents who get used to drinking coffee tell that the coffee has little negative effect on conception. They suppose it does not matter before you get pregnant. But it isn’t urged that you drink coffee after you get pregnant. Caffeine will have an effect on a baby’s nervous system. Giving up coffee is the better choice for you.

Have you heard of folic acid? A pregnancy can be counterworked by a neural tube defect that may have an effect on some girls naturally. However, taking about .5mg of folic acid can greatly cut back the chances of a neural tube defect in girls, by as much as eighty%. Folic acid ought to be consumed every day for about 3 – 4 months before the date on which you’re really attempting to conceive. Consult with a doctor if you are unsure concerning it.

Tips regarding the way to get pregnant can also suggest you that your vagina ought to be kept in a state where it will be most receptive to receive sperm.

Some Christians take the view that all they need to tell their children about sex is not to engage in it until they get married. While instilling Christian values in our children from a young age is admirable, it is not difficult to argue that the teenage pregnancy rate during the Bush years more than speaks for itself in explaining why teaching nothing more than abstinence is ineffective.

Providing information about sex, and sharing your opinions about the situations in which sex is appropriate, does not give your child the message that you think premarital sex is fine and dandy. Here are some compelling reasons to talk to your children about sex.

Parental guidance vs peer “information”

By creating an atmosphere in which your children are able to discuss anything of interest to them with you, the parent, you will steer them away from relying on peer information or misinformation. By this, I don’t mean that you should have one big loaded “talk” with your child, especially if they are uncomfortable with what you are saying. Rather, if parents answer their children’s questions honestly yet simply, they will know they can rely on you.

Presenting facts at a level your child can understand, from a young age, makes it easier for children to accept that there is nothing sinful about sex, when practiced in the appropriate environment. For example when I was pregnant with my son, and suffering from pregnancy signs and symptoms in a big way, my then two-year old asked how the baby got in there. My husband and I explained that babies are made with a small part of daddy, and a small part of mommy. That was satisfactory for her, and she did not ask more.

Being curious about sexuality is normal, and curiosity does not equal physical acts. Yet, when children do not receive the information they are after from a safe source like a parent, they will get it from peers. You are in control of the information you offer, but have no idea what kids will tell each other. If you do have honest discussions about sex, and the implications of premarital sex, your child will have a solid base when those inevitable teenage discussions do take place.

The dangers of teenage sex

My view may be a controversial one – and of course, I respect those who disagree with me. To put it bluntly, I am aware that some teenagers will at some point engage in sexual acts. My husband and I are committed to equipping our children with a solid Christian base. This includes attending Church, reading from the Bible every night, and also modeling a solid marriage – including lots of love! There is no need to point out that I hope our children will follow the same path into adulthood, but at the same time, I acknowledge they may not.

Given the choice between children not having information beyond “don’t do it”, and being fully aware of the spectrum of options, I choose the latter. Sexually transmitted diseases and teenage pregnancy are real problems. I want my children to know what to do to keep themselves safe, even if they make choices I disapprove of. Simultaneously, the knowledge that having sex may mean you end up with chlamydia, genital warts, or HIV may serve as an additional deterrent.

Values to take into marriage

Honest discussions are important for me for many reasons. Sex is often seen as a dirty word – but let’s not forget that there is a time and a place for it. There is no reason for husbands and wives to feel ashamed of their sexuality, and to enjoy being intimate together. By emphasizing the wrongs of sex, we may be creating complexes that will not do our children any favors when they do find their mate.

Answering our children’s questions about healthy partnerships as well as sex may just give them just the tools they need to take into marriage.

Trying To Conceive is a website dedicated to fertility and pregnancy. With their personalized ovulation calendar, couples hoping to add a little one to their family can determine their most fertile days.

I believe God created the world many times, and through this everything evolved. To our current age of around 5000 years. This explains evolution in the sense that God kept creating,You cant hide from evolution, its everywhere. You cant deny dinosaur bones in a museam or the many bones they have found that show the evolution of primates and of man. This is one mans opinion, its all we have. The bible will tell you God created the world,it wont tell you when or how. In this mans opinion the bible isnt literal and shouldnt be taken as such in most cases. I think modern men have taken the position that it is. It was never this way until the last couple hundred years and primarily in the west. You cant take a lot of passages in the bible literally and you have to realise that somethings were added later, when using the bible use at your own discretion. You cant have a man telling you what is true, thats all we have on earth is men and women and for some strange reason we take what they say many times as the truth. The truth of the matter is no one really knows anything, as it pertains to truth, thus we have faith. Faith isnt required where no belief is needed. If something is true it doesnt require faith in believing in it; thus modern man has to wrestle with many things he dont know. Many things he must accept as truth to uphold any faith he may have in anything.

I have faith and sometimes its weak.sometimes its non existent, sometimes I love God sometimes I cant understand God and what I cant understand I probably shouldnt criticise, but I find myself doing it. I believe that when you relate to God and try to have a relationship the only honest one is of course being honest.and questioning and seeking answers from God, and letting him know where you stand and even let him know those things you find he did that are absurd and cruel to you. Its much like a marriage in some ways.you agree sometimes, sometimes you even argue and on those hopefully rare occasions you get mad,but you dont stay mad. I never stay mad at God but when I am I express it.Im not a yes or no man.Im not a bury my head in the sand and believe what my pastor told me to believe man either;and if you are youre fooled. You need to examine your faith and you need to know why you believe it, not just believe it because everyone else you know does, or someone told you this is what you need to believe.dont be lame.Use your brain.

What are the evidences of a Christian who is Spirit filled? Is it super natural powers? Is it a magnetic personality? No, not really.

Being a Spirit filled Christian is not spooky or even supernatural. A person does not have to break down and start foaming at the mouth, start spouting in some unknown tongue or language, or even suddenly have the ability to heal the ailing. It is actually much more practical than that.

Walking in the Spirit, to be Spirit filled, is a mental exercise that puts your thinking, hopes, and desires in God’s hands. Notice the following passage of Scripture:

Romans 8:5-8 – For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Notice how many times the word ‘mind’ appears. Walking in the Spiritand thus to be Spirit filledis about where your mind is. So here are some of the evidences of a Spirit filled Christian:

1. Is in constant prayerful contact with God throughout the day (1 Thess 5:17).
2. Is loving to those around him (Gal 5:22).
3. Is at peace with life (Gal 5:22, Rom 8:6).
4. Has songs of God and Jesus on his lips throughout the day (Eph 5:18-19).
5. Is joyful (Gal 5:22).
6. Does not feel at odds with God (Rom 8:6-7).
7. Is constantly thankful for what he has and what he is (Eph 5:18-20).
8. Is humble to those around him (Eph 5:18-21).

These are the basic evidences of a spirit filled Christian. So many times, as Christians, we are looking for the supernatural, when the quality of our life is not determined by the power we wield, but by how much the Spirit of God has filled every aspect of our life.

It begins by absorbing your Bible. You need to be in constant contact with God throughout the day. Do not just say your prayers, read a verse or two, and then dismiss God until the next day. If that is all you ever do, then God only occupies a very tiny fraction of your life. There is no way you are filled with the Spirit.

Remember, the most important aspect of the Christian life is your relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Being Spirit filled is not determined by your position in Church, how well you keep the rules, to what degree people recognize your spirituality, or how much influence you wield over others.

It is how much you fill your daily life with God!

Could God use you to reach people for Christ via the Internet? The answer may surprise you!

I’m no techie!

“How could I ever use the Internet to reach people for Christ?” you might wonder.
“I’m no techie. I know how to send email and read the news online, but
that’s about it.”

I can identify with that. My technical knowledge is limited. For many years, I was even
hesitant to use an ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) at the bank, for fear I would do something
stupid and it would swallow my card.

Gradually, I overcame my technophobia and began to use computers for word processing. But I
used somewhat primitive setups. Only in 1998 did I switch from the rather archaic DOS operating
system to Windows because a friend said I should “get with the 90s before the
90s are over!”

What are your talents?

We all have talents and abilities. A key to usefulness is making our talents available to God.
Your talents may be in building friendships, engaging in conversations, answering questions,
inspiring people, or telling stories. God certainly can use those. Here’s a story that
may encourage you.

My own interests involve communication, especially
relating Christ to secular audiences.
Over the years, I’ve written numerous evangelistic articles to help reach nonbelievers.
Several years ago, a couple of friends involved in Internet ministry, Keith Seabourn and Allan
Beeber, asked me to send them all my articles so they could put them “online.”

I didn’t understand all that meant, but they said it would make the articles available
free to people around the globe. That seemed like a good thing.

Keith’s website, Leadership University aimed
to collect thousands of articles supporting the validity of Christian faith.
Allan’s Evangelism Toolbox became an online
“Yellow Pages” (directory) of evangelism resources. They helped introduce me
to Internet outreach.

Are you ready for the digital revolution?

At a convention in Amsterdam a few years ago, I saw a brochure that said,
“The Great Commission is Going Digital; Are You Ready?” That piqued my interest.
Maybe God wanted me to focus my energies on Internet Evangelism.

The brochure spoke of the then-fledgling Internet Evangelism Coalition.
I started to hang out with these folks – wonderful people – and to learn from them.
I began to write more for the web and various articles appeared online.

Another friend encouraged me to do a Google search on my name. I was amazed to see page after
page of my articles on websites that I had never heard of!

I also discovered a number of other “Rusty Wrights” including …

a platform tennis player

a university professor

a football coach

a singer

a rodeo cowboy

a racecar driver

a cruise ship captain

a convict

The simplicity and pervasive nature of the Internet was allowing people to find and use these
articles in ways I had never imagined. I could sit with my laptop in my office, on an
airplane, or in a hotel room and compose an article that would tactfully nudge people toward
Christ or biblical principles. Then, by pushing a button, I could send it to Internet publishers
who would make it available to people around the globe.

This seemed almost too good to be true. What a potential for spreading Good News!

A simple prayer

In August 2003, while jogging one morning, I felt impressed to pray that within a year, I would
be aware of 100 websites that had used my articles. (At the time, I was aware of 43.)
There wasn’t an audible “voice from heaven” or handwriting on the sidewalk; just a strong inner
impression that I should pray this.

A year later, I learned of the 100th site that had used this material. Some sites published the
articles and others linked to them. The articles appeared in several languages:
English,
Spanish,
Albanian,
and Polish.
People just kept translating and posting them. It seemed beyond my control or ability.
God gets the glory for this.

A surprising number of the sites were not Christian. For instance, one site linked to a version
of the article Elvis Has Left the Building
which traces fascination with Elvis Presley and its spiritual implications. An Argentine medical
school website published a translation of
One Minute After Death,
about near-death experiences.

Some secular newspaper sites ran material. Personal websites and “blogs”
(web logs) linked to articles. I did not contact all these websites, asking them to use
my articles. Many content managers simply found the articles on the web and used them.

God’s sense of humor

I even found one article link on a porn site.

I should clarify. The evangelistic article is entitled
Dynamic Sex: Unlocking the Secret to Love.
It presents a biblical perspective on sex and love but is written to grab and hold the
attention of non-Christians. And no, I did not discover this link by surfing porn sites! I
typed the article title into Google. I do pray that many websurfers who go to that site
looking for pornography will find Jesus. God has a sense of humor!

Again, God gets all the glory for this. If you have interest, many of these seeker-
and skeptic-friendly articles are at Probe Ministries.

What can you do?

Internet evangelism offers you a dazzling array of possibilities to communicate Christ.
Writing articles is just one method. You may want to interact with unbelievers in a chat
room, correspond via email, communicate on a blog, design your own website, pray for
and/or support web outreach financially.

You can also encourage your church or Christian group to participate in ‘Internet Evangelism Day’.
This international focus day program helps Christians learn more about the
potential of the Web for outreach. Their www.InternetEvangelismDay.com
site explains how to create a short focus program to include in church services or other
activities.

The important thing is to ask God what He would have you do. As Mary told the
servants in
John 2:5,
“Whatever He [Jesus] says to you, do it.”

Ask God to enlarge your borders. He did it for Jabez
(1 Chronicles 4:10).

If you’re truly free In Christ then you should not worry,
Jesus is your everything.and to the cross you take everything.
Take your worries to the cross right now.
and pray that Jesus takes those and you be free.
Jesus Said in Matthew:

25″Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[b]?

28″And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

So relax and take heed that the saviors burden is light and his yoke is easy.
come take comfort in Christ Today.

n

There is a crucially important issue that demands consideration: “Teenagers And High School Teachers“. Bring up the chair, and you be the judge.

n

High School teachers influence teenagers to the point of shaping and sculpting their abilities and capacities, Assuming responsible parenthood, it is vital to wonder if a teacher gets a job based on a college degree OR if a teacher unequivocally demonstrates to know how to teach and then shows to have a college degree. It was written that ”There seems to be very few parents realizing how critically important it is to have not only well prepared and skilled teachers knowledgeable in one subject or science, but teachers who must inescapably be proficient to execute what is vital and crucial: How To Teach.”

n

* Will it be possible that teenagers failing in High School is because nature made a mistake in not providing them with intelligence and intellect ?

n

* Will it be possible that teenagers failing in High School is because they confront teachers failing both at how to execute the “Teaching-Learning Process“ and how to teach ?

n

If a teenager develops normally, it is then highly unlikely that his brain cannot assimilate knowledge. It is a fact that nature’s designer decided that ~more than at any age~ teen years is when our brain is wide open to acquire knowledge, and to develop aptitudes and talents. It leads to deduce that ~when something is not well in High School~ it may not be that a young mind fails because nature made a mistake, but it may be that the process of proficiently and correctly passing knowledge on is the one failing.

n

As an editor, publisher, and parent, I felt compelled to write about this critical issue in the hope that you ~as a parent I presume~ may have wanted to read about something that has the power to detrimentally affect your teenager’s life, to adversely influence the initial stages of his life, and to potentially do the same to a good portion of his adult life.

n

We parents have the inescapable obligation to become conscientious that our teenagers may not be in the best position to speak up confronting what they likely perceive as an intimidating establishment of adults determined to admit no wrong-doings, but to flip the pancake over ~so to speak~ washing their hands claiming that it is our teenagers the ones on the wrong side of matters.

n

We parents are our teenagers’ best asset. We must then ensure their success in life rather than choosing a path of least resistance being unconcerned during the most formative chapters of their lives.

According to statistics, the United States of America along with other developed countries of the world despite making great advancements in science and technology has lost the prime social virtues and moral ideals that it once upheld. This has happened for a number of reasons. To begin with, there has been a sharp increase in divorce rates indicating disintegration of families. More importantly, most young adults in the age group of 16-21 are seen leaving their homes to stay away from their families. This is again triggered by a sense of alienation and neglect that these youngsters experience while growing up. In a country like the United States of America where finding part time jobs is not too difficult and leaving home not a social taboo, a growing number of young adults are seen taking this route to lead their lives according to their wishes.

Although economic development and financial independence have been the most commendable traits of the modern American society it cannot be denied that with the steady progress that the society has made in the past several years a number of social evils have also been prevalent. Today, the United States of America is widely known for its struggle to fight the evils of drug abuse and alcoholism. Majority of the celebrities and social figures who have hogged the limelight have had a past of drug meth addiction and their struggle to come out clean. According to social scientists, the chief reason behind the sharp increase in number of young adults succumbing to drug meth addiction is the degeneration of families. Most children in the country grow up in an environment that soon turns hostile for them. Conflicting parents, family tensions and sexual abuses lead to a sense of guilt and trauma in such young adults who remain in a vulnerable state. Child psychologists opine that these factors often push the teenagers to fall back on banned substances such as drugs and other addictive substances.

At the Christian drug rehab centers it is widely believed that providing social security to the teenagers is fundamentally important to help them deal with complex issues while growing up. An important element in the Christian drug treatment is the adoption of procedures that can bring families together and help them address issues faced the children in the families. For this, a number of faith based drug rehab centers run programs that are required to be attended by individuals as well as families. These sessions are extremely beneficial in bringing families on one platform and identify problems faced by the young drug addicts.

The interactive counseling sessions and seminars are designed and developed for families that want to lend a helping hand towards the kids in their families suffering from the drug problem. In these sessions, the religious preachers and orators delve deeper on the need to retain family values even when the couple has parted ways. This is because a child needs family support to remain socially active and responsive. To explain the ideas in a better manner, chapters in the Holy Bible on family virtues and marriage are read and explained by the conveners at these sessions.

It has often been found that the drug addicts, particularly those in the age group of 16-19 suffer from an inferiority complex. Such drug addicts long for togetherness and seek a sense of comfort and belongingness from the people around them. Often, these needs are left unaddressed by the families of the drug addicts who fall back on traditional drug rehab centers to look for scientific ways in which the craving for drugs can be lessened. The Christian drug rehab centers however, focus on making sure that the recovering addicts are treated both medically as well as spiritually so that they can build a resistance against all forms of meth addictions.

The families of the drug addicts are offered consultation on two distinct levels. In the first level, the families are addressed in groups while in the next stage they are consulted individually based on the medical history of the drug addict. In group seminars, the religious preachers talk on the various factors that force people to take up banned substances such as drugs.

While interacting with the families of the drug addicts individually, the counselors take into account all factors that may have caused in the patient to take up drugs. They are offered an insight into the mind of the drug addict, his psychological problems and the ways in which the problem can be tackled. Sometimes, the counselors advise the parents of the recovering addict to go for a long vacation with the patient once he is out of the rehab center. On other occasions, useful tips on how to deal with a teenage drug abuser are provided. These are immensely beneficial

Commercial activities during Christmas today are often decried as making
the season too materialistic. This has caused comments that the religious aspect
of Christmas is so overlooked and overshadowed that its celebration seems to be
purely pagan. But today’s comparisons aren’t the first there has been some link
between Christmas and pagan celebrations. As a religious, church leaders
instituted Christmas during winter because that time of year was a popular for
the celebrations of many pagan festivals. The hope was that Christmas would also
become a holiday that would gain much popularity.
Long before the birth of Jesus Christ, people in various parts of Europe would
celebrate light and birth in the darkest days of winter. The winter solstice,
when the harshest part of winter was over, was a time of celebration for many
peoples because they would look forward to more hours of sunlight during the
longer days ahead.

The Norse in Scandinavia celebrated Yule from the winter solstice on
December 21 through to January. Men brought home logs that were lighted and a
feast would take place until the log was completely burned. Each spark from the
fire was believed to represent a new pig or calf to be born in the coming new
year.
The pagan god Oden was honored by Germans during the mid-winter holiday. Oden
inspired great fear in the Germans who believed that Oden traveled at nights
through the sky to observe people and make a decision about who would perish or
prosper in life. This belief caused most people to stay inside during the
period.
In Rome it was the god of agriculture, Saturn, who was honored in a
holiday called Saturnalia. It was a holiday that started during the week that
led up to the winter solstice and continued for a month with hedonistic
celebrations. There was plenty of food and drink and the normal social class
rules of who had privilege and power in Roman society were totally disregarded
as everyone participated in the festivities. Some Romans also had a feast called
Juvenalia to honor children and the birthday of the sun god Mithra was sometimes
celebrated by the upper classes.
In the early years of the start of Christianity the main holiday was
Easter. It was in the 4th Century that church officials made a decision to have
the birth of Jesus celebrated as a holiday and Pope Julius I chose December 25
as the day of Jesus’ birth. The holiday, which was first called the Feast of the
Nativity, spread to England by the end of the 6th Century and to Scandinavia by
the end of the 8th Century.
Church leaders achieved the goal of having Christmas celebrations, including
attendance at church, become popular during the winter solstice, but they were
unable to control other pagan-like celebrations during Christmas. Believers
would attend church on Christmas and then participate later in raucous and
drunken celebrations. But by the Middle Ages, from around the 5th to the 16th
Century, Christianity had outgrown paganism as a religion.
The celebration of Christmas in Europe changed in the early 17th Century
when Oliver Cromwell and the Puritans gained power in England in 1645. To remove
decadent behavior from the society, Cromwell cancelled Christmas as the Puritans
noted that the Bible doesn’t mention any date for Jesus’ birth. The lack of this
information and specific Biblical references to Christmas is also cited by
religious groups like Jehovah Witnesses as the reason they don’t observe or
participate in Christmas. Christmas celebrations returned in England around 1649
when Charles II was restored to the throne.
Christmas wasn’t a holiday in early America because the Pilgrims who came
to America had even stricter beliefs than Cromwell and the Puritans. Christmas
celebrations were even forbidden in Boston from 1659 to 1681. During the same
time however, settlers in Jamestown in Virginia were reported to have enjoyed
Christmas.
After the American Revolution Christmas again lost popularity and it wasn’t
until June 26, 1870 that Christmas was declared a federal holiday.
